As a master of the build-to-order PC, sliceurl.com it's no surprise that Dell has managed to create a somewhat customizable version of the netbook. While most manufacturers offer it as a one-size-fits-all solutions (or with only very minor ways, such as color and hard drive), the Inspiron Mini 10 has many options can be the perfect netbook for you.

Well, after a lot of coaxing from my dutch friend(who has done this himself), I decided to get a netbook for college, mainly because I didn’t want something heavy, and I didn’t want to do too much work on it in the first place. And the special thing is putting Mac OS X on it. It works 100% on almost everything but screen mirroring over VGA(as in, an external display sees what you see). Overall: I love it. I have used mac before, but not on a dedicated machine that belongs to me. I just got the latest disk from Best Buy, got the netbook from ebay, and followed a guide with some other corrections from a forum called mydellmini. I tested the graphics, Portal is not happy, but Cube 2 is happy.

i got a BSOD on my new Dell netbook from leaving a USB hard drive plugged in while on standby, then waking it up again. the hard drive was a mac format running through software that helped it recognize the format as well, so, this was a clustfuck of fail
