Netbooks are one of the hottest gadget categories on the market. These super ultra laptops are in demand as more people start to go mobile. They are also designed to target folks who don’t want to spend a couple of thousands of dollars on a new laptop. You can get netbooks for as low as $200, and we are not talking about poor quality ones. And best of all, you won’t be getting a heavy notebook with these gizmos. In fact, you may be able to get one that weights less than 2 lbs!
To find a netbook bargain, you need to find out what you are aiming to achieve with your gadget. Do you need one that is more on the portable side or do you want to save money and settle for a cheaper alternative. Here are a few things you need to consider before choosing your super ultra laptop:
Screen size: the smaller your screen, the more contact your gizmo will be. But can you handle smaller screens?
Battery: if you are planning to take your device with you on trips, go for those that come with longer battery lives. Sometimes it’s not easy to add 6 cell batteries to these devices so know the facts beforehand.
Wireless: if you are not planning to upload and download things with the speed of light, then you can settle for g-books. But if you need fast connections, choose n-books that allow you to connect to faster Wi-Fi LANs.
Weight: if you want a super portable gadget, you should choose a model that is in the 2-2.5 lbs weight range. Believe it or not, 1 lbs here or there matters.
You should always take time to check bargain sites to make sure you are getting the best deal on your netbook. Manufacturers often provide discount to shoppers to boost sales. By finding the right coupons, you can save even more money on your next gadget. You should also avoid going for the latest models on the market, unless you afford them of course. The newer models are more expensive at first, which means you end up paying more than you have to without getting the proper bang for your buck. Ultra portable laptops may be cheap, but that doesn’t mean you should check the first one you see in a shop.
